May 19th 2012 7:07PM That's nothing, in the late sixties/early seventies these kids grandfathers had their fingers on buttons that would launch multiheaded thermonuclear warheads toward every major city in the western hemisphere several times over. Really scary stuff.

I've logged 22 years, added a master's degree, & teach an extra class. I might just clear $50K this year. Doesn't amount to anything since the district has not given us a raise in two years due to the "budget" and allowed our health insurance premiums & copayments to go up each year. I've managed to sock away 16K in my 403b over the last 20 years. I coached for two years but realized the woman who watched my kids while I did that was making more than I got from the suppliment so I stopped.
I drive a 13 year old truck that I do all repairs on. Also had dial-up at home until last year. Mow my own lawn and do all my own house repairs. No drink, no drugs, no pay-per-view, no dog with papers. No boat, no guns, no tailgating at "the game". Oh, my wife works full time with a two year degree and makes as much as me.
Kind of scary that someone stupid enough to put up with this is teaching your kid, isn't it? Not sure why the wife is still putting up with it.
