Alcatraz torn down to make way for peace center? {Gadling}
Feb 6th 2008 8:33PM Way back when I was still in high school ('87ish), I flew from Chicago to California to visit family. While there I went to many places to site see, one of which was Alcatraz. Regardless of how you think of it... good, bad, or indifferent, I thought Alcatraz was an interesting part of not only SanFrancisco's history but also California & the United States' history. If I ever make it back to the Bay Area, I would hope that I can stop by there again to see Alcatraz, maybe show my sons. It says alot about our society. Where we as a nation have been and how we came to be present day. I think it would be a shame if it were to be torn down. Not all of our past is pretty, but there is a lot to learn from it regardless.

Jun 24th 2007 9:43PM Wear whatever you feel like. I dont care if it is a plain, colored, beer, radio station, same band, different band, old, or a shirt just purchased at the show. I have done all of the above at some point or another. I'm there to have a good time and listen to a band I like. I could care a less if someone else doesn't like my shirt. As for wearing the same bands shirt... I would think the band would prefer it. Not only does the bad get royalties from the purchase but it also shows other people before and after the show both what band you like, and who you came to town to see.

Feb 11th 2006 2:52PM But how do you know that what is being done in the picture is actually illegal? According to a local West Michigan paper, multiple parents were appealing the school districts decisions to suspend claiming their kids were not drinking alcohol. One female student was allegedly holding a beer can but she claims it was a silver diet 7 up can.
