Nov 15th 2009 2:20PM Even though I do not shop there much, Wal-Mart has a lot of people working who otherwise would be out of work or on welfare. They are the largest employer in the USA except for the Government. A lot of people have to work on Thanksgiving day. Police, Fire Fighters, radio stations, TV stations, all the people at the football games in the concession sales, Gas Stations, Local Mini Marts, Drs., Nurses, Etc. Because you people want to watch your football games also don't you? you also want your ber, chips etc and your wife also has to work for no pay at all fixing you huge meal. So it is not just Wal-Mart.

Feb 7th 2009 3:00PM I did not read all the comments but, did anyone bring up the fact that they also pay women amd minorities less? Or at least that is what they claim. Maybe this is why, so they can cut down on their payroll. My Boss had to let 10 people go and said he walked around the parking lot, saw 10 cars with Obama bumper stickers, and they were the ones let go as he is going to have to pay higher taxes now that the "Saviour" is in. They wanted "Change" and now they have it, Just sooner than expected.
