Mar 13th 2012 9:32AM I would try to change planes if I was in 1st class and there was a baby. Face it, part of paying through the nose for 1st class is to get away from the riffraff in economy. Give the kid a sleeping pill before you get on the plane, fine, but a long flight with a screeching, pooping, smelly infant is a nightmare. Parents never seem to think twice about anyone other than themselves and inflict their little monsters on everyone. This is why it's an issue.
Jul 5th 2011 10:23AM This red shadow/liner pops up every few years and quickly disappears, and for good reason; it's dreadful! Makeup is about looking good, not like you have an eye disease. It might work better with black skin, but most women should stay far away from it.
Jul 1st 2011 11:51AM Wasn't he in the underground poker game in one of the Ocean's movies? Ocean's 12 maybe? Life imitating art.
Jun 8th 2011 6:49PM George is my single hero. I, too, had an early marriage, and I will never marry again. I'm not waiting for "the right one"; I enjoy being single and living my own life.
May 26th 2011 3:39PM I love her. She's always true to herself and has fun with her clothes. Good for her!
May 15th 2011 9:40PM Ever tried using the bathroom in a romper? You'll quickly figure out why they went out of fashion in the 70's. (Not to mention they are just ugly and dumb-looking.)
Apr 27th 2011 11:14AM I'm a natural blonde, and even I get tired of it. I've tried strawberry blonde, but it didn't come out as well as hers. The color is very good on her and goes with her skin tone. It's not as dramatic as her blonde, but it's nice.
Apr 25th 2011 5:38PM You call that blonde? I call that light brown. I like her best with dark red hair, which wasn't one of our choices. Women should lighten their hair as they age, as nature would. Dark hair looks unnatural and harsh on older women.
Apr 20th 2011 11:24AM When I was a little girl in the South (a very long time ago), I was told only black women could wear purple. I wondered why they got to have all the fun. Now, of course, my wardrobe has quite a lot of this royal color. I love Serena's dress!
And I love Helen Mirren. She's an idol to all us ageing babes, showing we can still be as hot as we wanna be!
Apr 1st 2011 11:17AM I like the new chairs, but the rest of it is a downgrade. The new decor looks less Italian and more like Denny's. And while the new chairs look homier, they also look less comfortable. They're taking away the sparkling lights? Bad move, that was my favorite part. And tacky new prints on the walls? Also a bad move. I just ate there two days ago, in the bar with the charming little stone tables and wrought-iron chairs; that's going, too. I'm sorry, but it looks like whoever designed this never saw Tuscany.
