Chad Ochocinco Sleeps With the Fishes {AOL Real Estate}

Sep 2nd 2011 9:39AM Guess this just reinforces the idea that having money doesn't mean you have class. This is just pure stupid, and ugly. There is a reason I don't like pro sports, mostly just a bunch of jocks that never grew up and don't have brains enough to spell their name....just play some silly game.

Bristol Palin Reveals She Lost Virginity While Drunk {PopEater}

Jun 20th 2011 9:48AM Two points for the Palin lovers.
1) This is "news" ONLY because she is promoting a book talking about it. This is not a case of a reporter digging into her personal life, SHE is the one talking about it.
2) Liberals do not get "rabid" when there is news about the Palin disfuntional family. Generally they think it's just a big joke and testimony of the ignorance of the people that think there is anything other than a cheap circus there. Nothing at all to be scared of as many followers believe. Those are words from Rush, Hannity, and the like....not the real world.

Bristol Palin Reveals She Lost Virginity While Drunk {PopEater}

Jun 20th 2011 9:35AM oh how nice...she gets her face "fixed" to add the pointy chin so she can look the way she thinks she should, then writes a memoir about her life so far...what a bunch of trash. Exactly what message is she getting paid to teach? If you don't like your looks, it's important that you have them surgically altered? It's ok to spend your youth having a long term sexual relationship and child with someone, but then all of a sudden that person is a "knat"?

Nicolas Cage Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge {PopEater}

Apr 16th 2011 1:40PM Maybe he can take some acting lessons while in jail. He could get a role being some guy's girlfriend.

How the Post Office Can Make Money and Survive {WalletPop}

Jan 14th 2011 7:33PM A few years ago I was talking to my postman about this and I suggested that they start delivering mail every other day. I typical govt. worker mindset he said yea, I could just deliver to every other house each day, odd number one day, even the next. I tried to explain that what I meant was to only serve each area every other day, cutting the number of delivery people in half....he couldn't figure out what I was talking about.

Elena Kagan to Be Tapped as Next Supreme Court Justice {Politics Daily}

May 10th 2010 12:25AM What disgusting comments. People talking about what she looks like, as if that matters. People talking about how she has never been a judge, as it that matters. I'm sure all the hateful idiots making these postings are "beautiful" (at least to themselves), and don't understand that the job of the Supreme Court is to determine if laws are Constitutional, and experience as a Judge has no value. I no nothing about her other than by her cridentials she is probably as qualified or more so than most that have been in the court.

Dirtiest Hotels in the United States {Gadling}

Jan 31st 2009 10:56AM The Rocking Horse in Estes Park, CO. gets my vote. I stayed there one night with my family 12 years ago and it still is by far the worst we have encountered. I travel a lot and have run into a lot of bad ones over the years, but The Rocking Horse was by far the worst.

Wisconsin pro-NEV law actually makes it harder to drive electric vehicles there {Autoblog Green}

Feb 4th 2007 10:45AM i hope all these 'green' people realize that electric cars put a huge burden on the environment. besides batteries being highly corrosive and damaging, the higher draw on the local power plants basically nullifies the fact that they don't emit CO2. a power plant produces far more than a car, lol. suckers.

Batteries are a enviormetal hazard, but one that is easy to contain with the types of batteries being used today. The amount of pollution that a dirty coal burning power plant produces in order to power an electric car is about one tenth the pollution that the cleanest conventional car produces to go the same distance.

No Tesla CUV, But Zap! will build the Lotus APX with batteries {Autoblog Green}

Feb 4th 2007 10:32AM wouldnt it take more energy and emissions to produce the electricity from the power plant and send it to the car

No. The worst coal power plant producing electricity for an electric car will produce about one tenth the pollution of the cleanest gas powered car going the same distance.

Feb 4th 2007 10:28AM I'm curious how ZAP plans on achieving 155mph and maintaining reasonable low end acceleration

This is achived by the type of motor. It's a DC Servo motor. They are very different from any other type of motor. The controller vary the frequency and amplitude of pulses sent to the motor. The frequency controls the speed and the amplitude controls the acceleration. The initial starting is done with high amplitude low frequency pulses. As the motor starts to turn the amplitude begins to go down and the frequency increases. There is really no high end limit from an electronics standpoint, just the programmed limits to prevent damage to the motor bearings. You also have almost the same amount of power available almost instantly at standstill or at 100mph, the motor doesn't care what it's doing at the time, it always has the same available power, unlike conventional electric motors or combustion engines.
