Jan 18th 2010 2:03PM Don't care who ya use, please, please STAY AWAY from a company called Load Rock 'n Roll aka Mr. Move. Charged $2,500 for a move across town. (2 miles away to be precise.) Lost my washer/dryer, dining set and more importantly personal items which cannot be replaced.
Then they tried to sue me for $7,000. Curious as to where these bastards get their figures from. Oh well.
Greed? They can't get away with anything unless we 'freak' on them! Public Utilities Commission out here in California can't even get the owner of this company. Even though he's spent 43 days in jail! Good luck, everybody ...
Dad Calls Police When Child Refuses to Go to School {ParentDish}
Jan 15th 2010 2:15PM My divorced single mother began calling police to our home when I was fourteen years old. I was incarcerated in the local police station three different times. Her reasoning was that I was hanging with a bad crowd (true) and that I was "uncontrollable."
The third time she did this the commanding officer threatened to move to place me with Child Protective Services. I wish he had.
I think my mother is a very sick woman for engaging in this practice. But, she's my mother and well ... we all have our crosses to bear. People DON'T have kids unless you are superior enough to take the responsibility on your own!
