Mar 7th 2008 11:11AM What you need to realise is there is only one airport really in London, the City Airport, for business users! Both Gatwick & Heathrow are on the outskirts of London, Heathrow could probably be classed to be just in London but Gatwick is actually in Crawley, Sussex, not London! As for Stansted and Luton, they aren't in London, or anywhere near, don't ask me why they call them London Stansted & London Luton! Stansted is in Essex and Luton is in Bedfordshire, now go look at a map of the UK and you will see the distances involved! As a final note, there is a lot more to the UK than London!
