Delta Air Lines Changes Mileage Program, Budget Travelers Lose {Gadling}

Jan 24th 2013 9:14PM I so miss NWA. I avoid flying Delta whenever possible and no longer have "status".

Sadly, Delta staff have won my personal "Nastiest Employees In The Air" award for at least 4 years (a distinction that historically belonged to United). These folks have ATTITUDE in a most unpleasant way. Most recently I have several minorish items go missing from my luggage and was told in a very nasty tone "We cannot do anything for you as we do not know if these items were ever in your luggage. You could tell us you are missing a $25,000 ring and how would we verify you ever had a $25k ring in your luggage?" A few months ago, I waited in the BAGGAGE check-in line for over 2 hours (I was already checked in). As I came close to missing my plane, I complained and was told "You should have gotten to the airport earlier." What the night before my flight??? Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Throw in the fact that I live in Memphis where Delta charges $1,000 to fly to Chicago but if I drive 150 miles to Little Rock, Arkansas the fare is only $300, I only fly Delta as a last resort.

Oscar de la Renta Criticizes Michelle Obama's Alexander McQueen Gown {Stylelist (Main)}

Jan 21st 2011 8:00PM Shelly has a way of making even a stylish gown look a bit frumpy. When she wears sweaters, it reminds me of the old lady from the very old TV show Laugh In. She is tall, has a reasonable figure for her age and just needs some good fashion advice and better posture. Oscar was actually too nice

Better Ways to Spend $40 Than on Pajama Jeans {WalletPop}

Jan 8th 2011 12:06AM If they look good wear them, just not everywhere, everyday. I think the author of this article is sending a caution that at some point getting too comfortable is no longer attractive. Not only in a "wow does she look great" sort of way but attractive as in interesting to talk to, approachable, in a person-to-person way.

Loyal Friend Chelsea Handler Calls Angelina Jolie a 'Homewrecker' {PopEater}

Dec 6th 2010 7:24PM Chelsea needs the publicity-she used to be entertaining but is now just another talking head with nothing to offer. I suspect Jennifer has moved on and does not need the publicity, if she has not moved on by now, then she needs a shrink.

Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar Walk Off 'View' Set While Talking to Bill O'Reilly {PopEater}

Oct 14th 2010 7:46PM Apparently Joy and Whoppi forgot that they are hired to facilitate conversation-not to editorialize. O'Reilly is a jerk but these two make him look good.

More Bad News for 'Outlaw' {AOL TV}

Oct 11th 2010 7:53PM Note to Alderman - hope and change seems to have brought out something un-american in almost everyone.

Lisa Rinna's Horrifying Casting Couch Admission {PopEater}

Oct 11th 2010 7:39PM She was never hot enough to attract that kind of offer. Perhaps this is a little fictional fiction to sell her book?

I believe if you don't have the guts to call someone out within a few years (and save other women from the same fate), it is totaly wrong to call them out 30 years later. She is the trash.

Is 'Outlaw' About to Be Canceled? {AOL TV}

Oct 7th 2010 7:48PM The first show was a bit awkward-they need better writers because the story only hung together by a thres. Oh and perhaps someone working in the former judge's office should be old enough to buy a beer and seem to actually like Smits' character.

Big Green Home Bust {Housingwatch}

Sep 19th 2010 4:45PM Have lived through the government involvment in going green before and frankly, the only green thing in sight when the government gets involved is the amount of tax dollars thrown out the window.

Big Green Home Bust {Housingwatch}

Sep 19th 2010 4:29PM I would hesitate to pay the extra costs of building or buying a green home and then pay all the extra ongoing ownership costs of a green home. Have lived through the "going green" cycle a few times and in the end, most of the "latest green technology" ends of being junk. I do/will pay extra for energy efficient items from dishwashers to air conditioning but these are proven winners.
