Jun 22nd 2007 1:46AM anyone who sledgehammers his mac knows his mac is toast. the dude obviosly spilled something on it, the techs called his on it (spill damage is pretty freaking obvious to anyone who has seen it) and he's calling his own bluff. so he does what comes next to someone who knows there is nowhere else to go. personally, if i toasted my mac with a beer, i'd toss it under a semi going 60.

May 18th 2006 12:58AM I remember when I worked at an Apple store 2 years ago countless people would complain that their g4 powerbooks were too hot for laptop use. It's because they are metal, folks. Aluminum, specifically. You'd be suprised at how hot the ram and processor are inside a plastic laptop, insulated and cooking away. Just be glad the heat is dissapating to the outside world where it belongs and quit hyperventilating about it already!
