Leeza Gibbons In The Hollywood Hills, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Oct 12th 2009 3:29PM Disgustingly ugly! I don't have a degree in interior design, but my home is much more tastefully decorated than that hot mess! What the heck is she thinking? Oh, and I LOVE the comment about the chair in front of the door...my first thought as well! Who does that?

Pepsi and Walmart: Helping your kids want more junk food {WalletPop}

Sep 11th 2009 1:43PM To the author of this "news story":

WAAAHHHHH!!!

Ever heard of the word "no"?

So, when you do your grocery shopping, do you complain that the "kid" cereals are on the lower shelves? How about just complaining that stores sell that stuff in the first place?

No toy aisle in Walmart? Check. No pizza in the frozen section? Check. No cookies in the snack aisle? Check.

There you go. I've just absolved you of having to be a (gasp!) PARENT!

My child was taught from an early age that when I said "no" I meant it!. Did she try to persuade me? Of course! Did she throw a temper tantrum? H-E-double hockey sticks, no!

Come on, sheeple, figure it out. YOU, and YOU alone are responsible for your children's behavior.

Aug 18th 2009 8:19PM Ridicule almost NEVER results in helping the targeted person. What a ridiculous notion. If anything, it causes that person to become even more depressed and as a result, eat even more. For you to even think this way makes you no better than the people who actually did the bullying.

Pot Turns Brad Pitt Into A "Doughnut" {Popeater}

Aug 17th 2009 12:53PM Mr. Pitt NEVER said he turned his back on GOD. Only on RELIGION. BIG difference. Especially if you actually have a mind of your own and don't let old, white men tell you how you should conduct your relationship with the Ultimate.

Pot Turns Brad Pitt Into A "Doughnut" {Popeater}

Aug 17th 2009 12:47PM Sorry to burst the bubble of all the religious nut jobs out there, but you DO NOT have a monopoly on the market when it comes to morals. In fact, I would say that there are many, many examples of moral emptiness within the church itself. People in glass houses...

you know the rest.

Boy, 3, may face life with Bart Simpson tattoo {ParentDish}

Oct 5th 2008 3:35PM Wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, sparkles?

Chances are that street vendor didn't just disappear into thin air and chances also are that others have had this same thing happen to their child. So, according to you, the parents are just supposed to roll over and say, "Oh, well. It will be too hard to pursue this so we just won't try."

Sorry, but if it was MY child, I would do whatever I could and if it came to no end, at least I know I tried.

DUH.

Oct 5th 2008 2:07PM This sounds like "black henna" which isn't real henna at all. Real henna has been used safely for thousands of years. Too bad the reporter didn't make that distinction. Real henna gets a bad enough rap because of black henna without ignorant reporters making it worse.

On that note, I hope this family sues for the disfigurement of their child.

New York to Los Angeles in 31 hours by car {Gadling}

Nov 27th 2007 11:21AM You might want to check your facts before writing an article. Roy specifically mentioned in his interview with NPR (I caught the original broadcast) that he did NOT use the urination bags because they were to cumbersome to deal with and difficult to use. He also did not use Depends. Instead, he limited his liquid intake, which would make your statement about him loading up on caffine false as well.

World's Worst Parents on Video: No. 2 {AOL Video Blog}

Sep 25th 2007 12:54PM The point here is REGARDLESS if he is old enough to make his own decisions to ride and REGARLESS of the fact that she couldn't help him in any physical way, she SHOULD have, at the very least, comforted this poor little boy instead of laughing at him. There is NO way that "nervous laughter" takes over when a compassionate person (obviously not her) sees another that scared, especially a child! And to the point of him making his own decision to ride...he is a CHILD. We, as adults are their guardians. Do you honestly think children are mature enough to make the correct decisions? Please, give me a break those of you blaming the child. Yes, if my child had asked to go on that ride and was tall enough, I would have let her go. But, I would NEVER have reacted the way this woman did.
