'The Biggest Loser' - 'Week Thirteen' Recap {AOL TV}

Apr 15th 2010 4:06AM I agree with all 3 of you - the Sunshine/O'Neal team is getting to be almost as annoying as the Ron/Michael team was. I was actually rooting for Sunshine to be in the bottom 2, or even voted off! She could finish out at home, anyhow - look how far she's come already. I'm cheering for Daris and Ashley; they're my favorites!

'Dancing with the Stars' - 'Performance #1 Part 2' Recap {AOL TV}

Mar 30th 2010 6:04AM I agree, Kate's a train wreck waiting to happen. Derek's getting 10's already? He should have been paired with a more difficult partner than Nicole - I smell a setup there. And I just have to say that I find Niecy's singing along with the song extremely irritating - just dance, girl!

Desperate Housewives: Bargaining {AOL TV}

May 4th 2009 7:37AM I was slightly irritated by the Gaby story - not only by her failure to practice what she preached (her shallowness and egotism won out - again), but by the writer's insistence that her daughter is only 6 years old. The girl who plays Juanita is a very good little actress, but 6? I don't believe it for a moment...especially when you notice she no longer has her baby teeth, but full adult front teeth. Unless I'm terribly mistaken, don't most 6-year olds still have their baby teeth or are just beginning the process of losing them? Juanita looks more like she's 8, or 7-and-a-half at the youngest. She's always looked older than the age the writers profess her to be. (end rant)
And, did Gaby truly learn anything by this incident? I doubt that the pained expression on Juanita's face did much to break Gaby's shallow mindset.
Lastly, why do we rarely see the younger daughter? She hardly ever has any screen time, much less lines - I don't even know her name. C'mon, writers, a little development here!

Castle: Ghosts - open thread {AOL TV}

Apr 28th 2009 3:16PM Love, love love me some Castle! Sure, some of the plots get predictable, but the banter and the tension between Castle and Beckett is so enjoyable to watch...not to mention their facial expressions! I also enjoy the smarter-than-the-average-teen daughter, and Castle's boozy mom. I hope the show sticks around for a few more seasons.

PS - Nathan Fillion is hot!

Will Sykes' Saturday show sink Spike? {AOL TV}

Apr 2nd 2009 10:31AM I won't be watching. Her screechy voice irritates me, and I don't find her funny at all. When she's on a talk show, I change the channel....and I don't do that for just anyone. Ugh!!

Do you want to watch fat people dating? {AOL TV}

Mar 31st 2009 1:07AM Hear Hear, Maria T C G!
I'm so tired of heavyset people being ridiculed, teased, made fun of, etc...No one is perfect, and EVERYONE deserves to be loved and find love, no matter the flaws. If you don't wanna watch, change the channel!

Did Ellen's dream just come true? {AOL TV}

Mar 20th 2009 2:05AM It looks like Oprah is praying to her idol Michelle, the way their hands are positioned....Michelle looks like one of those front-yard statues and Oprah her adoring follower. Kinda scary!!

It's not so good to be Kings {AOL TV}

Mar 18th 2009 1:36PM I agree with Jimmy (comment #4). Also, in this paragraph,
"The premiere episode only eeked out around 6 million viewers and finished as the lowest rated show in the 8 to 11 p.m. timeslot last Sunday. That means less people watched Kings than The Simpsons, Family Guy, 60 Minutes, Hole in the Wall and ... America's Funniest Home Videos?!? Cripes, is that show still on the air? Apparently, fathers have failed to learn after more than 10 years that their testicles are never safe when Junior has the whifflebat." - it's not "eeked", it's "eked", and it's not a "'whifflebat", it's a "wiffle bat".
I agree with George - proofread! (or at least spell check).

Desperate Housewives: The Story of Lucy and Jessie {AOL TV}

Mar 17th 2009 12:26AM It was nice to see a "real" woman on the show (Leslie Boone as Lucy), rather than yet another too-skinny twig-like woman...and cheers to Carlos for proving that he's nowhere near as shallow as Gaby! More Lucy please!

The Chopping Block: Series Premiere {AOL TV}

Mar 12th 2009 8:21AM Marco constantly wagging that finger was driving me nuts - it was like a freakin' metronome!
