May 5th 2010 9:18AM ladies, i am a guy who has no problem working with or for a woman. i expect the same qualities in both that i do of a male: fairness, competence, professionalism, compassion, caring,decisiveness, etc. there is a kid where i work who is leadman on 2nd shift. why the company made him one is beyond me. he is afraid to make decisions, doesn`t " lead by example ", is indecisive,won`t listen to the older guys, and has no common sense. as a warehouseman, he`s not a bad person. but he is a total failure as a leader. i think this article could apply to a lot of men also.

Feb 26th 2010 11:46PM my first male cat - panthony - was 171/2 when i had to put him to sleep because his system was failing. i knew what i should do but i couldn`t make myself tell his vet to give him the shot. the poor little guy was so weak and listless. suddenly, he perked up, let out three normal meows, and nuzzled my hand roughly like he often did. it was like he was saying i love you and know you love me and don`t want me to go. but it`s alright. that is what helped me tell his vet to give him the shot. that was in 2001 and i still miss the little guy terribly; but when it starts to hurt thinking about losing him, i try to concentrate on all the warm memories that he left me with.
