May 31st 2011 3:12PM I am constantly amazed at stupidity and ignorance! Nature versus nature is an ancient argument which under examination holds no water, at all. What attracts us or what doesn't cannot be taught! Plain and simple. I am a 77 year old gay man who married when I was 24, not to hide, but because society taught me that's what you did when you grew up. After 10 1/2 years I left my wife and 2 children because I could no longer pretend to be heterosexual. 10 1/2 years of living straight did not make me straight. Nor would a homosexual experience make anyone gay. Among the many idiotic arguments I've heard is, "you chose to be a homo." Oh! Really? So, when did you choose to be straight? Or, am I one of the 'lucky' ones, I got to pick and you got stuck with your attractions! It always amazes me how people who know absolutely nothing make statements about everything. Sexual orentation and gender identity are inborn, not taught.

May 10th 2011 5:58PM being gay is not and never was a 'life'style. How you live is a life style. I'm 77 years old and i'll be 78 in July. I don't drink and never did, I don't smoke. I don't do drugs. I'm not a theif, a liar or any other known or unknown detriment to society. I've been with my partner 27 years, which is more than many heterosexuals are with any particular person. Those standards are what constitute a life style, not my sexual orientation, which incidentally just is! How utterly stuped people like you are. And if throw the 'choice' thing at me, let me ask you a question. When did choose to be a heterosexual, or were you just stuck with it. And me and my fellow homosexuals are the lucky ones 'cause we got to choose?

Any show that allows Johnny Weir to rant and rave forgetting that these 'celebreties' and I suggest the word is a bit over used here, are not in any way real skaters and shouldn't be judged by the same standards as regular skaters, doesn't need to explain what or why it does anything!

Nov 5th 2010 7:08PM The real problem? The existence of sites such as this! Splashing stories such as this everywhere! If the sex lives of celebrities were viewed as no ones business, being out of a closet would be so much easier. But, as long as the media, print and broadcast believe the have a right...no..make that a belief that they have an obligation...to reveal personal details that are none of anyones business, the problem will continue to exist. I am a 77 year old gay man who has lived in the spotlight, so I am very aware how insidious the the media can be.
