Photos of the Lakota: a lesson in culture and inclusion {Gadling}

Dec 1st 2010 6:45PM By showing the photos Huey has indeed defined them, and poorly at that. yes there are problems, but take careful note, as bad as it is there are many people within the reservations who are working towards making things better.

Lakota people will never thrive under the American system and any belief that Americans can "save" them should be immediately abandoned. But that does not mean Americans cannot help, they just must do so in the right ways. Visit www.changingwinds.org to see how help is welcomed and what you can do.

Aaron Huey, call me. No kidding.

Sincerely,
Christine Rose<

Ask the AKC Animal Behaviorist: How Can I Calm an Anxious Cat? {Pawnation OLD}

May 27th 2010 9:41PM I found the response to the question poorly informed. Anyone who denies a child or pet comfort when they are anxious is only continuing the anxiety. Making a child or pet feel secure is the only sure way to MAKE THEM FEEL SECURE. Pick them up, reassure them everything is okay, show them you have the confidence in them and are there if they need you, and you will foster a more secure pet. This also applies to a child. Its like letting a baby cry to make them stronger. It only fosters misery and anxiety and the feeling they are NOT safe.

Nicole Kidman to Show Us 'How to Marry a Millionaire' {Cinematical}

Apr 28th 2007 2:30PM Kidman would make a far better Bacall, she lacks the warmth and vulnerability that Marilyn had. Why not Scarlett Johansenn???

Starbucks to eliminate trans fats {Slashfood}

Jan 10th 2007 9:24PM How about a delicious NATURAL sugar substitute that even diabetics can have? There are plenty! Like Sorbitol, but NOT Splenda! I love my chai but can't take all that sugar.
