With the recession of the US, distance, time (American only get 3 weeks vacation/year--many choose not to even take that due to economic downturns), cost and hassel of international travel, many just didn't bother. That said, it is one of the heavenly place to be if you can afford it. Don't blame Oprah..It is not her fault.

So teaching your children that do what you can get away with is their moral value we want to install in America? I say ABSOLUTELY NOT!! Why is crime rate so low in China and incarciration rate is so low as well. Many death roll inmates are executed immediately and their organs and flesh are sold internationally for the needy and/or art exhibits all over the world. This is confirmed by Amenisty International and I still found this to be the best deterrant for criminal activities so criminals understand crime do not pay.

Feb 7th 2011 8:53PM I had to sing the national anthem of Taiwan beginning of each school day which I do not feel that it is that much burden. It reminds me why we exist as a country and I still strongly believe America should do the same to all students who attends school. I believe all the children of this country should learn it by heart and reminds ourselves what of great country this is and we need to cherish our home land every moment of our lives.
