Apr 24th 2007 7:23PM Although I respect Ms. Couric's achievements, I am not impressed with her personality or news reporting. There is nothing nice to say about her. The other night I saw Harry Smith substituting for her and felt at that moment CBS missed the boat by not putting him in for the Evening News. He is Charismatic, Pleasant, Serious and has a sense of humor. Take Ms Couric off the broadcast as she suffers from the same disease as Rosie O'Donnell "Celebrity without any substance".

Apr 13th 2007 9:06AM Don Imus was wrong for using those words. And as a representative of a corporation and advertisers he failed as a professional. However, Sharpton is wrong to get involved it is none of his business. As Americans we celebrate everyone's cultural differences good and bad. Unless you are Al Sharpton who does not support anyone but his attention headline catching causes. I suspect that he is not loved by his constituents as he believes and has become a Icon by default. Meredith Viera was on the money to ask the right questions and the essence of Sharpton flagrantly appeared. His opinion that his group is held in a different regard than all others is misguided and un-American. Well life goes on until the next event or issue that will spark Sharpton to fan the flames.
