Jan 20th 2010 9:38AM This election result was a reply to the arrogant politicians in Washington who have been pushing us around, thinking American citizens are ignorant serfs who aren't qualified to guide their own course. Attention senators and members of Congress: did you really think we had forgotten how you showered Wall Street and America's gluttonous, irresponsible banks with a pot of gold, underwritten by the taxpayers? We let you know in resounding terms that we did not want to mortgage our children's and grandchildren's futures to the hilt with a bailout for the greedy financial institutions. Our calls to you legislators ran 300 to 1 AGAINST a bailout. But you didn't listen because you owe your souls to the very same financial institutions - they bankrolled your campaigns. We are sick of your frivolous spending at a time when America needs to shore up and get itself employed again. If you're not with that program, then get out or we'll put you out with the next election.

Jan 4th 2007 11:49PM New Zealand is the most beautiful, civilized place on earth. It takes forever to get there, but once you arrive, you won't want to leave. Don't waste your money in Australia - I couldn't believe how insecure those people are. They all talk trash about Americans but they all want to be just like us. They copy everything we do. If you fly to New Zealand on Air New Zealand or Qantas, do a stopover in Tahiti. What a gorgeous place.
