I read about half the post....One thing I see that I don't think most people understand about the vertical vs. horizontal incision....
The incision on your tummy that you see might be horizontal, sometimes called a bikini cut.,......or the incision on your tummy might be verticle. You can see that for yourself..
The thing I didn't see anyone mention is it's the incision into the uterus that's important....You can have a vertical incision on your tummy that you see.....and inside the incision made to open the uterus might be horizontal.
The only way to absolutely know the type incision used to open the uterus which is done after the skin incision...and after the muscle layer is opened is to read the operative report. The OB wil write how each layer...skin, sub-cu, muscle and uterine was opened in the operative record..
I'd want to know if I was going to try for a VBAC.......
Many time I've assisted on a C-Section where a neat little horizontal cut was made into the skin only to see a mass of scar tissue in the muscle layer with a stuck bladder flap that can't be pulled down.......the only thing to do then is to either retract the skin or increase the horizontal incision (make it look like a smile) then cut vertically through the muscle llayer and vertically into the uterus.....I've also seen a vertical incision made into a uterus where the baby couldn't be pushed(or pulled through) so you quickly perform a vertical incision or increase the horizontal cut to get the baby out of the uterus...
The only way to know about these incision within the mother's abdomen is to read the operative record.
With this lady in the article I think she should first of all see and OB that she can talk to and vice versa...Then study her C-Section records to see how the uterine incisions was made and how the bladder flap and muscle was closed...Plus I'd want to know when her last baby was born....If it was only a year or so I'd be leary of the uterine wall strength..
Good discussion here...bottom line is educate yourself then find an OB that you trust and who truely explains your options...Then go with it...Don't take poll samplings on websites. :)

Fox does have conservative leaning commentators..'talk show host' like Hannity, Huckabee...
The 'fair and balanced' comes from a Peough Report who stated Fox was the most fair and balanced during the campaign. And they were....

I freqently watch the FOX news at 6pm because Brett Bauer(sp?) is a good announcer. He gives the news..as he says 'he reports, you decide.'
If Obama is talking about some of the commentators and pundits shows then not talking about News, he's talking about Commentary.
Support for him comes from O'Reillay on FOX..He interviewed Obama and Hillary. A fair and interesting inteview. And Chris Wallace conducted an excellant interview with Obama.
So what is the problem?
Yes, the line of 'talk' shows lean right. Hannity is a Conservative talk show host..BUT he does have Bob Beckel and/or Lanny Page on his show to speak talking points. There is no difference ins Hannity and 'I have a thrill up my leg' Matthews...Or the sad, sad entertainment by Brian Williams.
I want to hear the news...The talk shows I might flip channels..
And my choice for news is Brett on Fox.
Try it and you might be surprised.

Dumb article! Failes to mention Paris is at the annual PlayBoy Mansion laungerie and/or PJ party.
Notice how no one but Paris is in the photo.
That's because EVERYONE is dressed in the same style.
And what is wrong with it.........Same as wearing a bikini, actualy more is covered tha when wearing a bikini.
Reading this article you would think Paris dropped by the PlayBoy Mansion in her panties and bra......But one thing about Paris she is appropriately dressed at all social events.
And for the BOOB who said Paris's parents should make her get a job and earn a living. She has been earning a living since she started modeling as a teenage....she's also designed a line of clothing, jewelery and parfume.....She's coming out with a line of shoes. She has been in a hit TV series for the past FIVE years. CD's, movies ........
last year she earned about 8.5 million.

Why shouldn't young single people date? And why does everyone assume that every guy you are SEEN with like maybe having coffee or just walking down the street is a sex partner?
To trot out the name of every male Nicole has been spotted with is ridiculous. I mean 'BULLETIN Niccole waas walking down Rodeo Drive with Jack Nicholson!!' Could he be the Father too? LOL>

Can't argue with facts, Hilton started modeling at age 16. She was sought after all over the world. Spain, Germany, USA, India and Japan clamored for her to model high fashion. Runway modeling is not easy. Family money means nothing. Daddy couldn't help her walk. Paris was super successful.
She marketed her own perfume, designed a clothing line, wrote two books. Paris loves animals and has a successful line of Pet Clothes! Including bikinis.
She made two movies and her TV sitcom is in its fifth year. Hilton was nominated for an Emmy. She has been signed to do TV and print advertising. Plus the music videos she has made have sold like hotcakes.
In the sitcom, Simple Life, Paris was often heard saying, 'That's Hot.' She copyrighted 'her' words. Designed a line of pocketbooks, bags, jewlery, t-shirts and assessorries. Many were blazoned with 'That's Hot' and every single item is a great success. She started the 'headband' trend. Headbands and scarves another Paris venture has earned mega bucks.
Hilton wrote some songs, recorded a CD and two of her songs went right to the top.
Her earning have steadily climbed last year was approx. 8 million and the year before was 7 million+.
Sources indicate she has surpassed those amounts already as of June 2007.
So all you guys knocking her business sense and rah rahing about 'Daddy ' taking care of her, that is BS. Her modeling is what got her started. Her looks, her walk, her ability to float down a runway is what made her a great model who was earning millions and working everyday. No one could 'help' her or 'buy that success', she did it on her own.
I bwt that chaps your butt to realize just how successful she is todday...and at age 16 she was earning over a million!
About the infamous sex tape. A young Paris was dating and 'in love.' She was with this guy for two years. The tape was made between two people in a long term relationship, who thought they were in love. The tape was not an issue until later. They broke up and moved on. Their lovemaking session was forgotten and remained a private thing between two lovers. Then boyfriend saw an opportunity to earn some dollars and he released their private tape.
When she is bashed for making this sex tape, some of the people act like she made the tape in a porn studio for publishing. And that is incorrect. Her lousy ex- made it public. And Paris made the best of it.....said nothing, which turned out to be best. And she never skipped a beat or raised her voice.
Hilton loves going out dancing with friends. She is very sociable. But Paris has never puked on the sidewalk, passed out in the club or in a friends car. She is consistently polite and smiling. Paris is even nice to the photog who hound her day and night.
Bottom line is she is a damn good business person.
'MS. Hilton! You must be worth a gazillion bucks!'
