I say if all other options were taken then use the exreme.. I thank God my parents put a boot in my ass as a kid when needed and I now will do the same to my kids... Jan 25th 2011 2:40PM I have to say I agree with you with breast babies being allergic to EVERYTHING for some reason. I did fal for the breast feeding thing when my kids wre born for about 10 mins.. My first child was breast fed for about 8 wks. she ended up in hospital with RSV... Now she has the WORSE seasonal allergies ever. My second child was breast fed for a few mth out of cost more then anything. She was a great baby til she turned 2 and then for some reason in the worse of winter every year my kid ends up at the hospital to help fight what ever is going on. I will say she is not allergic to anything as far as i know. The myth of breast milk is a cure all is Bull If you want your kid to get teh best of your milk the first 2 wks is where all the anit bodies are it is called (hope I spell it right ) Collistrum.
You are not a bad mom if you bottle your kid. If your not a happy boob mom you will ot have a happy boob kid. Geton the bottle and hale a fingr at all the morons out tehr tryn to put guilt on you. They don tknow your reason and it is really not there busines. Im living in New Zealand at the moment and the pressure they put on people here is crazy. My neighbor was in tears over her home chekc parent just nailing her to the wall because she pulled out the bottle. her baby would not feed.I heard all this cryng and yelling i went over gave that lady a bit of my Philly attitude and sent her packing.. Mom is happy still using the bottle today.. So I say each there own and bugger off you no life Do gooders

Jan 13th 2011 4:02PM Im a Philly girl who has lived in New Zealand for the past 7 yrs and let me tell you except for the drunk who stayed out a bit to late and left his change behind there really is no tipping culture here... Yes Places like Auckland in the North Island and then Queensland in the South Island people might tip.. Just recently they had the world rowing champions here and one of the things they informed the foreign guest is that tipping is not done.
Some resteraunts dont mind if you tip but the higher class one will tell you to please take your money back. So who ever wrote this article needs to re-write it

Jun 26th 2010 3:42PM Im the parent and in my I will give my kids a taste of what ever, there not allowed to do it outside. I Feel because of that I have not had to deal with a falling down sloppy teen. My oldest is now 20 and Im very proud of her. My 15 yr old not really into alcohol. It is my 11 yr old who think those RTD are good and I tell her she is to young even by me to let her have a drink.
Im living in New Zealnd now where it is legal with parent concent that a teen can have drinks as long as there is an Adult that is supose to be resonsable with them. In most countries 18 is the legal age. Some want to raise it to20.
Kids are going to drink no matter what the law says. I did it. But because of my parents who taught me not to get off my face I was able to handle myslef 90% of the time, So The parents should not go to jail. Why ruin there lives if they were being responsable and dint let any of the kids leave

I have a step kid who is brought home from teh cops sneaks out teh window and leaves High school because it is in the way of her parying and she is "Oh she is young" My kid yells at there dad and she is like. Teach them respect. the woman is not allowed in my home I never want to see her again in my llife no matter what. She went as far as trashing my dead parents in an email to my husband along with the rest of my family. My husband knows she did wrong but takes her side sayn i shouldnt be reading his email.. ( He shouldnt leave it up for me to read).

Apr 2nd 2010 6:54PM They are tryn to re-do a show about the "West" family out of West Auckland that is called "OUTRAGIOUS FORTUNE" Which in NEW ZEALAND there is lots of open sex bad words and things that would never bee seen on T.V in America.. The show should maybe be taken to CABLE T.V.. Why dont they just run the New Zealand version. The show is great I love it. It has been on T V for about 6 yrs now.. Im from Philly so I know America wont go for the sex and wording in the show as it is seen in NZ but if they try to "American" it up the show will bomb... Was McDonough, playn the part of "WOLF" the dad who is in and out of Jail while is wife is at home keeping the family together.

Hey I gave a natural birth no drugs I was induced for the life of my youngest she would be dead if they didnt do this. If you dont like how I gave birth so be it. She is my heart and sould of my family my lil bugg, my baby forever and that is all that should matter to any mother. What if you adpoted or went surrogate. It is the love and the limits you would go for your child that makes you a mommy.
Any healthy woman can be a mother but how many are mommys and that is all that should be worrying you are you a mother or a mommy.. My kids think Im a mommy so forget about the birth issue and enjoy
