Obama's Fashion Statement: Theater Casual {Politics Daily}

Jun 4th 2009 2:44PM The country has a recession, is losing jobs, foreclosing homes, still involved in military action and you are concerned with the propriatary TIE. You even have a job writing this junk about your mother and wherethe button should or shouldn't be unbuttoned? You have a job and sold this blip to buy groceries , shoes, diapers or pay utilities? What about the rest of this country going down the tubes and what about the rest of the world where clean food and water is a necessity NOT A TIE!

Octuplet Mom Asks for Money on New Web Site {ParentDish}

Feb 13th 2009 2:28AM Hasn't it occurred to anyone that she is actually MENTALLY ILL with a serious and persistent mental illness? With a a diagnosis and a commitment her parental rights of all children can be terminated. If she is judged to be in her right mind then she can be prosecuted for neglect and fraud and a few other things I am sure resulting in the same termination of parental rights. Of everyone on this sight is so upset about the situation certainly they can get someone in the neighborhood she lives in to report to child protection. Why is this state so lax on sucha public case any where else and the parental rights would have been terminated long ago.

Pregnant celebrity smokers {ParentDish}

Oct 28th 2007 12:53AM Agreatmajority of the pre-WWI and the entire baby boom was conceived and born and raised around smoke and alcohol. The incidence of mental illness and other such things seems to have eluded the ever lengthening life span of the children and their health. I really don't know what they put in cigarettes then or how often the ladies imbibed but they did and here we all are growing to be the oldest and healthiest living generation. Perhaps the cigarette companies have put even more chemicals into their products thus making them more lethal but in our family and the many of the neighborhoods around the US that I have lived in the smoking while preggers was a constant and all the children born healthy and gosh not a single case of what was called hyper activity and that's ranking thousands of children nationally. So now that all these mothers have quit smoking or never started and never drank and they exercise and take vitamins, why is it that we are at an all time high for ADHD diagnoses and neo-natal trauma and premature babies and a whole host of ills?

Big in Japan: The Subtle Art of Eating Blowfish (Part III) {Gadling}

Aug 25th 2007 2:40AM I guess this fascination with this swimming neurotoxin is strictly the joy and passion of Manga.

Big in Japan: Video Games that Kill {Gadling}

Aug 25th 2007 2:30AM Remember Matt-san you are in a country where interaction with a live human being is constrained or twisted because of population density and homgeneity and a caste system. ICE, ICE BABY. From Manga world.

Blowfish sold as salmon kills 15, sickens over a hundred {Gadling}

Aug 25th 2007 2:04AM As a small child my great grandfather was discussing the animal flesh with one of my great uncles and he told him that he would not allow him into the house if he consumed flesh and years later when I mentioned this episode to my mother she mentioned fugu and other forms of meat. She said that on that side of the family no one had eaten any land flesh for over 700 years. Of course all these years later my young uncle came home to tell of his adventures in eating every form of meat except human. Matt that would make Thailand a "Fear Factor" moment.

Big in Japan: The Myth About Money (Part II) {Gadling}

Aug 23rd 2007 12:09AM Japan is a cheap place to live. It will always astound people that the random family of 4 midwestern meal in fast food runs about $25, and that is for wonderful FDA poisonous junk. You can even his a hick town in the USA and be charged more for a room and a meal than in Tokyo. Maybe it is really Bizarro world?

Big in Japan: The Myth About Money {Gadling}

Aug 23rd 2007 12:01AM There are people who have lived in Tokyo forever and survived the bombings of that fun time with the USA. I assume that with such variety living well is a matter of personal choice.

Big in Japan: The Beginning {Gadling}

Aug 22nd 2007 11:50PM I am very entertained by this and all you have written. Japan is is very right brained and the left brain loves a good mystery.

Cho Seung-Hui's Plays {News Bloggers}

Apr 17th 2007 7:00PM This is just typical Asian Anime or Manga dialogue translated into English, even the plots of simplistic and exactly that way. The irony and black and white duality is blunt. The Helpless teens are angry and emotional and messed up. Just check into the the sub-titles of Asian movies. His writing is choppy as if he never quite adjusted to being in America which as an Asian myself is understood. The only American thing he actually did is "ACT" on these urges because in any part of Asia it is not possible nor likely to be possible without joining organized crime and that would mean that the bosses decide who your "targets" are. It was being in America the United States which literally messed things up becuase you are able to act on these horrific rages, because like the reports said; you have the freedom to have a green card and if you have a "clean record" you can purchase guns and ammunition. Throughout most of the 1st and 2nd world countries it is relativly hard to come by a hand gun with that much ammunition let alone want to use it such a way.
Acting alone in other parts of the world due to cultural ethos is most unlikely. It is the freedom and independence which America teaches which is very confusing to the many who come here from other cultures. To try to be American is to be standing straight and alone without the need of any help, the hero of any crusader comic is that lone man. In many cultures to die with honor is to kill yourself after a "crusade". The "crusade" is always about abolishing the "unclean" and "unworthy" as dictated by some dogma or doctrine, but the irony is that the "crusader" is often from what the dogma has labeled "unclean" and so the Ninja or the Robin Hood comes from nothing; even the saviour comes from nothing to remove the hypocrisy. That is what the plays are about and any Asian translator or profiler could tell you this but his actions were truly horrific but only available in America.

I feel so badly for the fallen and the families and friends they have left behind. This is the full face of what a massacre is like and we as a nation must grieve.
