Sep 11th 2010 8:47AM Why have a yappy non-stop hyper terrier that needs constant grooming and has a list of genetic medical issues in the breed? ( and yes...I am a groomer and have also rescued westies and they DO shed their undercoat!! )
Although a rarer breed, a quality bred AMERICAN RAT TERRIER w/ it's nice slick coat and extra intelligence, is a super companion dog! :)
