Port Orange HOA Tells Residents Yard Statues Aren't Allowed {AOL Real Estate}

Apr 5th 2013 9:36PM Some HOAs are more like the Gestapo than an HOA. They are overrun by people with "shortman's complexes".

Ori Feibush, Philadelphia Real Estate Developer, in Hot Water After Refurbishing City's Vacant Lot {AOL Real Estate}

Sep 22nd 2012 6:23PM It is ironic that if a private citizen didn't clean up their yard the city can fine them, but when the city is irresponsible they blow it off. This guy has done them a favor, and if they sell him the land it goes back on the tax roles. The only way reason can return to the Philly City Hall is to get rid of the current administration.

Gary Harrington of Oregon Jailed for Illegal Rainwater Reservoirs on His Property {AOL Real Estate}

Aug 13th 2012 9:13PM To Brock. This Oregon law was passed in 1925 by a Repub legislature. Look it up.

Gary Harrington of Oregon Jailed for Illegal Rainwater Reservoirs on His Property {AOL Real Estate}

Aug 13th 2012 9:10PM As has been stated in the past, oil will mean nothing as people start fighting over water in the future, and it is just getting started. I personally think this law is very flawed as rain belongs to noone. I guess in Oregon noone can even have a pond as it will capture rain too.

Principal Reduction: Is Debt Forgiveness Fair? {AOL Real Estate}

Aug 2nd 2012 3:11PM Debt forgiveness is just as fair as the horrendous tax breaks we give to the rich. It really is not one iota different.

Alan Ket, Graffiti Artist, Says His 'Murderers' Mural Was Censored by NYPD {AOL Real Estate}

Jul 27th 2012 10:33AM Now if the message would have said, "MURDERERS" and then followed by abortionists I'm sure it would have been OK. The police have also bullied the owner of the business as the painter cannot paint again. The ACLU and the painter need to sue the pants off the NYPD. But of course I'm sure Vito will then make a visit to the painter on the NYPDs behalf.

Woman Nearly Loses Home Over Unpaid Tax Bill That Wasn't Hers {AOL Real Estate}

Jul 3rd 2012 3:48PM This Proctor dude is way out of line. The tax bill that was sent to here by mistake was the counties or cities error. I would have done the same as she did. It was not her mail. She could have sent it back, but she didn't. If anyone is liable it should be the county or city that screwed up. The Intown Ventures were looking to make a quick buck. They know the property is worth way more than what they have in it. Hopefully this nightmare has ended for this poor lady.

Oregon Couple Faces Tsunami-Size Fine for Pool {AOL Real Estate}

Jun 11th 2012 8:31PM When he bought the property he already knew there was a federally protected wetland adjacent to his property. He also knew that the HOA had rules he needed to abide by, but felt he was better than everyone else so they didn't apply to him. Finally, take your scare tactics and spew them to someone who cares. As chicken little said, "the sky is falling, the sky is falling".

Oregon Couple Faces Tsunami-Size Fine for Pool {AOL Real Estate}

Jun 11th 2012 6:33PM Per usual these idiots are trying to place the blame for their breaking the law onto the community and not onto themselves. I love the comment that the city will be responsible for stealing their children's college money. I hope they take it all from this dipward that thinks he is better than anyone else.
