Jan 20th 2007 10:47AM I find this absolutely fascinating. I believe that being knowledgeable about one's ancestors help us to appreciate their struggles, pain, endurance and dignity. Their history will indelibly embed upon our minds that their unfailing sacrifice and strength, quiet dignity and proudness are directly responsible for our strengths and succeses today and it becomes more exciting that all this will be handed down through future generations. I simply LOVE this.

As usual, Oprah is pretty open about everything in her life and to really come face-to-face with the struggles and indignity, among other things, that our ancestors endured during their lifetime is truly mindboggling and reduces one to tears - lots of tears.
Dec 29th 2006 3:20PM Being of Jamaican descent, Guiness is a staple drink on the island. A great variation for thoroughly enjoying the brew is to blend Guiness with sweetened milk, chill and serve. That spells D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S.
