House of the Day: A Splash of Color in the Heart of Dallas {AOL Real Estate}
Dec 28th 2011 5:39PM Finally a place that truly has some colorful class to it instead of the usually gaudy trinkets and Louis the 14th stuff that is constantly paraded about in these mansions. Everytime I look at these mansions and see the same type of decorating over and over again, I think to myself that no one has any imagination and/or are afraid to let who they really are show through their home. Kudos to the decorator just for choosing to be different and not being afraid.
SkyMall Monday: Nuddle Blanket {Gadling}
Dec 5th 2011 4:43PM I have learned that just because you do not like something does not mean that others won't. We are all entitled to our own opinions but should tell people what they have the right to like or dislike. Sorry I don't like these things either but I know that others do.
Crazy/Sexy/Cool? A Swimming Pool in the Living Room {Shelterpop}
Jun 19th 2011 1:02AM I like the idea of an indoor pool, but not in the living room. Maybe off the bedroom or bathroom. And as long as money doesn't seem to be an object, lets put a sauna and jacuzzi in there as well. And I don't care if you're a martian much less Jewish.
Trend Alert: Accordion Pleats {BV on Style}
Jun 4th 2011 1:46AM I do remember my mother saying something about pleated skirts making women look slimmer. I think its a pretty style and wish it would never go out of fashion.
Parents Upset After School Yearbook Lists George W. Bush, Dick Cheney as Worst People of All Time {ParentDish}
Jun 2nd 2011 3:00PM The list should have included, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, George Bush Sr., Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, Woodrow Wilson, Nikita Cruschev, Joseph Stalin and many more.
Drew Barrymore Debuts Red Hair Color {Stylelist (Main)}
Apr 14th 2011 3:43PM Ms. Barrymore looks best with blonde hair. I understand the need to make changes as I do it myself. Im just saying her best look is blonde.
Boston Bans Soda on City Property {Slashfood}
Apr 10th 2011 1:47AM Talk about straining at a Gnat and swallowing a camel. Diet soft drinks are no better at helping a person lose weight then regular soda. It has been proven that you can't fool your body into thinking its had sugar when it really hasn't. Also diet sodas help contribute to weight gain as much as the sugary ones do. What a joke
McDonald's Courts Sustainability {Slashfood}
Mar 14th 2011 4:36PM MacDonalds should just stick to what they do best, making fast food and selling it cheaply. If they are trying to sound impressive it isn't working. Eating at MacDonalds is a choice. Just go with that and be done with it.
'American Idol': Sudden Death Semifinals and More Changes for Season 10 {AOL TV}
Jan 7th 2011 2:58PM The only thing that was worthwhile watching on AI was the first couple of shows when they were doing the try outs. Since they cut back on that and the people who thought they were good at singing but were lousy it isn't as fun to watch anymore and I stopped. Plus too many people sound alike droning on and on with certain notes in songs that were never meant to be sung that way. Silly show.
Teens Are Faking Mental Illnesses to Be Like Celebs, Survey Says {Just So You Know}
Jan 1st 2011 3:58PM As someone who has struggled with drug and alcohol abuse and depression for a good chunk if not most of my entire young adult/adult life I find this to be very grievous. Mental illness is not cool it is a life destroyer. It has taken me years to become healthy, to think healthy and have healthy life style habits. I used to cut myself as well and can say having been there and back on this stuff that it is not COOL!
