Nov 24th 2011 1:01AM I was unable to be given another seat. It was full to capacity. What should have been done was for the attendant when she saw the problem to ask the lady to come with her and taken her to the exit and told her privately that she would have to get a second ticket on the next available flight because she was too large for one seat. I'm not for embarrassing a person. She may have had a medical problem also but when she endangers others along with her self then she needs to be told...I was told by the airline that there were 3 points that she should have been stopped and wasn't...I will never fly like that again. And if I can't get an attendant to rectify the situation then I will make a huge stink right there...If you say nothing then they won't do a thing for you.

Nov 24th 2011 12:46AM I had a simular situation with this same airline...The heavy weight woman couldn't buckle the seat belt, she simply lifted her stomach stuck the two ends unit to look like she was buckled in and could not lower the arm separating seats either..She had me pinned to the seat and I had to extract myself and sit sideways facing the window for my whole trip and was unable to use my seatbelt for landing either..I couldn't get an attendant to come before taking off...They knew her size and ignored it....I wasn't allowed to stand which would have been preferable to being squashed by this huge woman, because it would cause an obstruction in the aisle for other's trying to get to the rest rooms and the attendants cart from going down the aisle . I complained to the US Airways customer service and got nothing but an apology and a 100 dollar off voucher for my next flight with them...There have been no more flights with them and I tell my story to everyone who is thinking of flying about them and their concern for their passenger safety...Horrible airline..

Sep 27th 2011 4:16PM I beg to differ with you...This did cause a reaction from those of us who love these United States...Don't know where you were when all of the arguing was taking place...I live in Arizona and we heard all about it here...Of course we face the very same disrespect of the American flag here as you do in California...and we speak out!!!!! They want to fly their color's fine, let them go back across the border to do so..The red white and blue trumps the green, orange, white and snake....EVERY TIME!

Sep 27th 2011 4:09PM It seems to me that this lady moved into a black neighborhood because she wanted to. They didn't protest her white face moving in. All was just fine until she decides to raise the confederate flag. I see that as waving a red rag in the face of a raging bull. OF COURSE it will start temper's to flaring. I do believe this was her actual, real motive. She is blessed that she lives in a neighborhood where the black residence have restraint in the face of her goading flag. The fact that she put in a flag pole to run this flag up beyond the height of the privacy fence shows her real intent...This is NOT THE FLAG OF THESE UNITED STATES and should never be higher than the US. Red, White and Blue....EVER...
My suggestion is for her to remove the flag from waving on a pole and put it at the front door for all who enter her house to pay homage to it..Better yet, would be to mount it on a doormat and place it at the front door for cleaning the bottom of her guests feet...Hope when she passes on to her other after worldly reward that they dress her in her flag of choice...Though Red isn't a good color for the death palor...

Our military sons and daughter's have to purchase the survival gear that keeps them as safe as possible since the military issue only affords them the very least amount of gear to defend themselves with...SO there is no hope for them to be paid a very nice living wage...If they can't afford to buy that safety gear they may not even make it back here for life after service...SHAME!

Jun 8th 2011 1:54AM Didn't believe this headline...But reading the story is proof that it was done...What was/is the airline thinking...Charging the American trooper's for their baggage? These guy's and gal's weren't overseas on a picnic or summer holiday afterall...Their baggage should be free...The airlines charge an arm and a leg to all passenger's...Surely they make enough money off of the rest of us that the service personel can get theirs for free...I won't be using DELTA Airlines EVER again because of this and their lousy service anyway...Delta can't do anything to smooth things over EXCEPT issue each of the service people a check in full for their charged baggage...AND a free ticket wouldn't be shabby either..JUST FOR their aggravation...

May 2nd 2011 10:25PM Forgot to add...HE IS NOT TOO OLD to play music...write music or anything else he may want to explore...He has paid his dues and is therefore entitled to do whatever he wants in his career....As for his looks, he is a cute little guy...looks alot like my baby brother..who never had a dirth of ladies chasing him...Doubt very much Steven doesn't have the same thing....

May 2nd 2011 10:19PM I love Steve Tyler...He's wonderful...amd I am a 74 y.o. woman...I would change only one thing about this boy...His use of the F word...Other than that...He's great...Great singer, entertainer and at this moment in time...Judge of Talent...He is a caring person and considerate of other's...Allows you to have your own opinion and isn't threatened if you don't agree with him....The fact he is on a new road in his life and has been successful for the past 1 & 1/2 years is just stupendous...He's all that! Uh-Huh!!!!!

Apr 29th 2011 11:48AM I bet she sleeps on her back too...Gotta' keep those facial wrinkles from developing on her stiff face....I actually saw a picture one time of her with a half of a smile...She was rather attractive in it...NOT beautiful but you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear...I am sure the blank look that looks more like a scowl is to try and present a mysterious look...Sorry to say she only presents a hateful, unhappy look and she is probably a very nice person...Smiles also invite lines...Lines speak of character sometimes...Oh well, with her money I say she can look how ever she wants to look...

Apr 20th 2011 12:07PM Nancy: Take your celery and cut off the bottom to release each stalk..Then wash it up under running water...Don't totally dry it off, just shake it a good couple shakes...Tale paper towels and loosely wrap the celery together then wrap into a tee towel and put this into the crisper...Leave one or both ends open so there is circulation.....
Also Green Onions (if you buy them) are notorious fast wilter's...I asked and I asked the produce people if there was a way to keep them a few days longer...To no avail...So, I discovered that when I buy them..I don't shake the water that has rained down on them at the store.. I just put them into one of those plastic produce bags and gently roll them in the bag...It does extend their crispness for a few more days then I had otherwise found...The old stand them up in a jar/glass of water didn't work for me...
