Feb 26th 2008 8:48AM The worst thing is burning fossil fuel (coal and natural gas) to make electricity. This treats the air and everyone's backyard like a sewer. So both solar and nuclear are OK. You seem to be using nuclear's bad public image as a convenient way to make your point.

That is how you protect people from radiation. Reduce the stay time, increase your distance from thesource, or put shielding: lead for gama radiation between you and the source.

I don't think anyone can outrun a gamma, but traveling fast would reduce the stay time.

There are hotel workers that don't get paid any salary, they work for just tips and food. And that is a good job. What about them? Oh I guess maybe they need a union too. Oh and a few billion others.
