Brooke Mueller on Sheen Roast: Don't Make Fun of Me or I'll Sue {PopEater}
Jul 6th 2011 12:22PM As a huge fan of the roasts, I guarantee this isn't going to stop Lisa Lampanelli or Jeff Ross to bust her a** hardcore. I know for sure if Greg Giraldo was still around he'd rip her apart just because she said not to! She better get ready. lol
Phils Loss a Nightmare on Broad Street {Fanhouse MLB Blog}
Nov 1st 2009 6:15PM I totally agree with ya, Speedy. I commented at home about how the Yankees stadium was so quiet. Both the Phillies team AND fans have heart, and thats what's gonna bring US the win! The Yankees are a bunch of overpaid, stuck up, arrogant jerks. And A-Rod..WTH is wrong with him? For getting paid as much as he does, he should be hitting home runs the whole time. Yeah right. The Phils won't let that happen! GO PHILLIES!!!

End Black History Month? I Beg to Differ {Blackvoices Main}
Feb 5th 2009 6:45PM I'm not saying that Black history month is a bad thing, but I do think that we should have a month for everyone else's heritage also. Why just a Black history month? Why not a Polish history month, a German history month, an Irish history month and so on... I mean if we are going to do that for one nationality, color or creed, I think we should do it for everyone. And since that is not possible considering there are only 12 months in a year, maybe we should just do away with it. I would love to see a Dutch and German history month so people would know about my heritage, but that isn't going to happen because I am just grouped into a category of whites.
Confessions of a hotel maid - read if you dare! {Gadling}
Jan 24th 2009 2:05AM OMG. I cannot relate to you more! I went to this hotel in Wildwood, NJ about 10 years ago. It looked like crap but I was young and didn't have a lot of money. So my friends and I got a room there. When I got to the room, I picked up the telephone to use it and the whole underneath and inside of the phone fell out. Then the beds were absolutely horrible. Two of my friends slept on the one bed, one slept on the floor and I slept on the other bed. My two friends that were in the bed woke up the next day with red bites all over their necks. I don't know if that was bed bugs or what. I pulled the sheets off in my sleep. The freakin mattress was exposed and there was a HUGE blood stain on it. I wanted to vomit. There was a pool outside and it basically looked like the one in Revenge of the Nerds 2. And in the shower, there was someone's gold hoop earring laying on the floor. It was disgusting. I can't believe to this day that I actually stayed in there like a dumbass.
Don't even bother with the Circuit City sales {WalletPop}
Jan 21st 2009 6:19PM I was going to go check things out there myself until a reputable source told me that the store actually made their prices higher and then put them on sale. So it looked like you were getting a deal, but in reality, it was no cheaper than it was before the store was going out of business. I'd wait a few weeks then check things out. By then, the store will be desperate to get rid of their items and there most likely will be real sales instead of misleading ones.
Dallas Cowboys Could Cut Terrell Owens {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Jan 8th 2009 8:32PM T.O. sucks and Eagles rule! Glad that guy's been off the team! He was a waste of space. Even though I hate the Cowboys, if they were smart, they'd get rid of him, too! GO EAGLES!
Nastia Liukin - Olympic StyleFoul! {Stylelist (Main)}
Aug 23rd 2008 1:58AM I'll tell u the truth. When I first saw all the gymnast females for USA, I thought, these girls look bitchy! But after watching them perform, I could tell they were just really into what they were doing and were all determined to win gold. I thought Nastia looked kinda pissy from time to time, but I really do think she just kinda looks that way normally. I cant imagine her doing that to Shawn. And I do agree with the other posters, there is NO need to start another rumor. Just something to get people riled up and it's stupid.
Pink cancer hair student suspended {ParentDish}
Aug 23rd 2008 1:45AM It amazes me how much times have changed. I was a senior in 1996 at a very small public school and there was no problem at that time if we dyed our hair. I had mine green for a long time. I never got into any trouble for that. It makes no sense to me why this girl wouldnt be allowed to dye her hair.
What is the big deal about kids dyeing their hair different colors? I must be missing something here. I do know that she did it in memory of her dad and what I did was just "out of the norm". So there is a difference.
But at the same time, why does hair color make any difference in a child's progress in school? I can understand if she was older and had a job, but she's a kid. And kids nowadays are dealing with way bigger problems than we dealt with 12 years ago.
I personally think the rule is just plain dumb. The school should worry about more important things like guns, knives, drugs, gangs, bullying and racism. I don't think pink hair comes under any of those catagories.
Chick-fil-A founder goes easy on vandals {ParentDish}
Aug 3rd 2008 11:49PM I worked at Chick-Fil-A for a very short period of time a few years ago. I used to wear a star pendant with a circle around it. NO, not a satanic upside down one, but a right side up star. It wasnt evil or anything. I've never been into anything evil but I was told I couldnt wear it. I did notice that other ppl were allowed to wear their cross pendants though. Plus I found it quite amusing that my boss was having an affair with another coworker but my boss was married. What is that? I may not be a devout Christian, but I do believe in God, and I do believe that adultery is wrong! I didn't think all the rules were very fair but I guess you have that at a lot of jobs. I do still eat there, but I am very glad I don't work there anymore. And there wasn't a "prayer time" (to the commenter who said there was one). I worked early mornings and no one there ever prayed at work. I do believe that religion should not be brought into work and that some of the rules were really ridiculous.
And to those people on this message board that think everyone should believe in Jesus, you are delusional. We ALL have an equal right to who and/or what we believe in. I hate people trying to push their particular religion off to others! And then if we don't believe in it or we disagree, we are going to hell or believe in Satan. Get a grip on reality!
