Tiny Kitten Stands Up to Barking Rottweiler {Pawnation}
Dec 22nd 2011 12:18PM Only someone clueless about canine body language would call that an "angry Rottweiler." The dog is exhibiting classic friendship signals -- play bowing and scrunching itself down with chin on the floor. The kitten was probably being brave, but possibly also encouraged to whatever extent it could read the dog's communications.

Report: Today is the best day all year to buy a new car {Autoblog}
Dec 1st 2010 10:33AM My eyes popped when I saw that too. I drive an MX5 ... but you almost *have* to pick up a Mazda3 if it's on sale for $10k!
Dogfight 2 is an engaging, challenging Time-Waster {Download Squad}
Nov 13th 2010 2:30PM Oh, thanks a lot. That's an hour (and more to come!) that I'll never get back. :)
Social browsing with Mozilla Labs F1 -- how RockMelt should've been {Download Squad}
Nov 10th 2010 11:05PM I get it that you don't respect RockMelt. And you're right -- it's a lot of sizzle for not much steak. But RM has three main perks: 1) dynamic friend list; 2) link sharing; 3) feed reader. It is not just #2, which F1 seems to be -- just feed sharing. F1 is elegant, but in no way a replacement for RockMelt. You need a few plug-ins for that. :)

Everything Recurs: Sameness and the 'Magazining' of Web Content {Switched}
Sep 26th 2010 12:55PM I don't see a problem. First of all, these pages don't look like magazines at all, so "magazining" really refers to a distinct design genre explored by online publishers. Second, we are moving into a new era of app-driven digital experiences. That is where "magazining" is really going to happen. the web sill just follow along behind.
Welcome to the New Switched! {Switched}

Aug 9th 2010 2:35PM No version for Blackberry? Leaving out lots of business travelers, who might be the best market for something like this...
Ellen DeGeneres Quits 'American Idol' {AOL TV}
Jul 30th 2010 11:05AM Ellen added touches of real wit to the humor-lacking panel. The show didn't need more criticism. Kara and Simon provided the voices of smart music knowledge. Randy is always jovial but inarticulate. I'll miss Ellen, and I'm sorry her AI stint is being regarded as a failure.
