Jun 26th 2010 6:54PM I am 70+ we taught our children to respect themselves and to use alcohol as it should be used. Occasionally and in moderation. They are all grown and not one of them drinks any more than an occasional beer or glass of wine. We never preached, and would NEVER have allowed other peoples children to drink in our home. And ALL of their parties were supervised by responsible parents. I regret that todays parents do not have the courage to supervise their children and teach them.

May 23rd 2010 4:40PM Arizona's "new" law is a mirror of the US law which the government has not inforced in at least 25 years. If we are a lawless country God help us. Mexico has VERY strict immigration laws as do most countries. The difference being most countries enforce the laws they have on the books. I say more power to Arizona, which by the way is where our family came from.

May 13th 2010 9:23PM I am dismayed to read the positive comments!!! I have worked with children of all ages for years, this is way over the top, poor kids. I cannot imagine what their parents are like and what they have in mind for their kids. Sad, sad, sad.

But the most unappreciated incident occured when the new hostess made a comment after Kate danced that,"All the LITTLE people would like her", LITTLE people, excuse me that is an insult to about 95% of America who are NOT STARS!!!

That is exactly what is wrong with our society, our schools and our culture. Parents who refuse to be responsible for the values and growth of their children. Nothing could be more important.

Jun 29th 2007 1:50PM My daughter is a teacher, I volunteer sometimes in her classroom, she always uses sanitizer on her children before they go to lunch, because she is in a portable and there is NO PLACE to wash their hands, then like a RESPONSIBLE adult she sees that they understand the concept and use it correctly. She controls the bottle! Good grief are there no more responsible adults around to TEACH children?
