Nov 28th 2007 9:22AM .... "fired for posting spoof messages on her website"
Some reports may state that, but the BBC has this quote from a London Underground spokeman, which makes it clear that her spoof announcements are not why she was fired:
"It's not because of the spoof announcements. It's because she has criticised the Underground system."
The real reason is that LU believe that she criticised their service.
Nov 25th 2007 9:48AM Your husband almost certainly was given an antihistamine to help with the itching. Older ones can cause drowsiness, and are sometimes marketed as sleep aids. I sincerely doubt that he was prescribed it as a sleeping pill.
Sep 20th 2007 10:08AM "Needless to say, the potential for either ingesting uncooked meat or burning your hands beyond recognition are two of the pivotal reasons why shabu-shabu hasn't caught on outside Japan."

Jul 18th 2007 6:36PM "This police "car" in Buenos Aires, Argentina reminds me of one of those futuristic movies -- was it The Fifth Element or Demolition Man?"
Perhaps you're thinking of Total Recall.
Jun 7th 2007 10:33AM You have been *remiss* in another spelling too.
Jun 7th 2007 9:59AM You have repeatedly misspelt Pepto-Bismol in your article. Which seems quite impressive since the name is clearly legible, and spelt correctly, on the products shown in the image you attached!
May 19th 2007 6:24PM All weights MUST be in the metric system. The ruling means that sellers can continue to use the imperial system as a *subsidiary* measurement. It does not mean that goods can be sold by imperial weight.
May 7th 2007 11:20AM "and Britain or the UK, which is made up of four countries"
I beg to differ: Britain is made up of THREE countries, and the UK is made up of FOUR. Great Britain includes England, Scotland and Wales. The United Kingdom adds Northern Ireland to the other three countries, and is properly called the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

May 2nd 2007 10:38AM "meaning the bed is literally falling toward the sky."
NO, it most definitely does NOT mean that.
Simply having repulsive magnets does NOT mean that gravity is negated. This bed is still falling towards the ground; it is just that the magnetic force is opposing the gravitational force.
