Jan 25th 2007 12:18PM These mockups are always very lovely, and airliner manufacturers have been tantalizing us with them for decades, but we'll never see such an interior on an actual plane.
Airlines are in the business of making money. Given the option of large open public areas and sweeping staircases, versus squeezing in a few more seats, which do you think an airline is going to choose?
And as a passenger, do you really want to pay for these grand spaces, or would you rather save a few bucks on your ticket?

Dec 15th 2006 4:31PM You can get horse at any izakaya (essentially a pub) in Japan. It's usually raw, sliced thin, and lightly frozen (to the point that it has a few ice crystals in it).
It's not all that good, being quite gamey and a bit liverish...
Whale, on the other hand, can be delicious when properly prepared.
