Hot Seat: Gays in the Military {Politics Daily}

Jul 8th 2008 1:55PM Oh, yeah...and there is one more thing...Gay people are generally discharged from the service for "Sodomy" , which is against the UCMJ. Now, I hope none of you Straight people serving in the Military, Male or Female, are enjoying the act of sodomy (anal intercourse) because you should have your sorry asses discharged, too-forgiving the pun, of course. (I guess...or so goes that line of thought). Should the Military Police or Naval Investigative Service be peering through your window to see what position you have sex in? No? How does it feel? MAYBE, you'll be called in to be interrogated about your sex acts, fantasies, whatever-they may just be against the law, you know (and actually are in some States-even for civilians.) "1984" all over again....BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR....

Hot Seat: Gays in the Military {Politics Daily}

Jul 8th 2008 1:31PM OH, and Lynn....P.S.- *There has NEVER BEEN a documented case of Lesbian to Lesbian HIV spread. So is it OK with you that we let Lesbians serve? ...and, by the way, try on Hepatitis C for size-the greatest killer of them all - NOT your common GAY disease.
When people choose to serve their Country - EVEN KNOWING THAT THEY COULD POSSIBLY END UP WITH A BAD CONDUCT DISCHARGE AND A FELONY RECORD, if they get "caught", not to say anything of the shame and embarassment some of their peers may try to make them feel ++++AND THEY TAKE THESE CHANCES TO SERVE THEIR COUNTRY REGARDLESS+++Who is the biggest Patriot - you, who sit at home on your duff and do nothing when it comes to protecting the Citizens of the this great country (to say nothing of your family and friends), or those that actually go out and "Get 'er Done..."? If it weren't for Veterans OF ALL TYPES, you wouldn't be speaking English right now, you would probably be a lampshade, and you CERTAINLY wouldn't have the freedoms and rights you enjoy...especially the right & responsibility to vote for the President of the USA. Some on, PEOPLE-Thank a Veteran today & don't worry what we do in our private lives.

Hot Seat: Gays in the Military {Politics Daily}

Jul 8th 2008 1:20PM I spent 22 years in the service of my country, through 2 wars, and was awarded several Commendation Medals. I am Gay. I served in War Zones and protected my fellow Sailors, just as they protected me. The stupid comment from Lynn White about receiving blood from a Gay person is one of the most assinine things I keep hearing from Straight people. Lynn, do you realize how many STRAIGHT MEN I have seen discharged from the Armed Forces because of the HIV they got from having unprotected sex with HIV women? why do you think that many Naval ships have people on the Quarterdeck handing out condoms when they pull into port overseas? Then they get to go home and give it to their wives or girlfriends *Lynn-you haven't had sex with a HETEROSEXUAL MALE have you??* God, I hope not-you could be HIV positive! Don't you realize that HIV/AIDS is no longer an exclusively Gay disease. GET YOUR HEAD OUT OF WHERE IT DOESN'T BELONG!! Also, since 1985, all blood to be given to others is teseted-NOT JUST FOR AIDS, but for other STD killers which kill more people than HIV. PLEASE, have your opinions, but at least research them before you open your uneducated mouth...

A country you've never heard of (continued) {Gadling}

Jan 4th 2008 8:39AM Well, Gina, there are plenty of other places in the world in which to
live...however, I doubt you'd find ANY of them to your liking. You're
just one or those people that enjoy the sound of your own bitter
"voice". Go live somewhere else if this country is so terrible. At
least we're not beheading you because you expressed a largely
contrary opinion. We won't throw stones at you, make you wear a
burka, take your first-born, kill you in an oven, make you into a
lamp shade, or gang rape your daughter. Not the worst country after
all, heh?

Chad Johnson on Michael Vick: 'Even the President of the United States Made a Mistake' {Fanhouse NFL Blog}

Aug 27th 2007 1:37PM "Everybody has made mistakes..." Agreed-HOWEVER, if one keeps making the same mistake over and over and over again, (for 6 years, as is the case with Vick)I don't think that is a mistake, but a habit or exhibition of one's character! I have a feeling he thinks his only mistake was getting caught...He would have kept "making mistakes" until he did. What a coward he is.

Obnoxious talk-show host gets her own action figure {ParentDish}

Dec 9th 2006 12:34PM Any adult that feels the need to go on the radio and tell their problems or fears to an absolute stranger, and have the conversation broadcasted nationally, has a deep seeded need for attention. No, I didn't need Dr. Laura to explain that to me. It's just like the idiots that go on Maury's show or Dr. Phil's, for that matter. I personally find Dr. Laura deplorable.
I also think that the people that feel a need to listen to her show (or watch Maury Povich, for that matter) are emotional voyeurs that enjoy, not only watching or listening to these people's pain (real or imagined), but use them to satisfy their own twisted needs. Ugh!
