To a very, very limited extent an oil company can play games with the retail price of gasoline but that is all. The problem is that for years the American voters elected folks to office who took no actions to wean this country from dependence on foreign oil. We not are reaping what we have sown. If you want to see who is to blame for oil prices in the United States. look in the mirror.
