Dec 6th 2012 12:01AM I was at Disney last Fall and saw this under construction. Thanks for the update!
Nov 4th 2012 6:33PM Great to know. We live about 3 hours south and saw the last shuttle launch. We also explored KSC, which was terrific. Looking forward to possibly seeing this early, as you wrote about, and for sure in next year.
Oct 26th 2012 7:17PM I'd like to add to the bathroom discussion and do in my own blog. http://crazytraveladventures.blogspot.com/2012/10/munich-oktoberfests-food-with-taste-of.html
What I didn't put in there is the bathroom stalker man. There was a man who stood and ogled women who were waiting in line. Openly. No subtlety. Even my boyfriend was shocked at the display by this man. Ever had anyone look you from ass to breast? Every woman in line with me did. That aside, I hope as Oktoberfest continues, so do the number of facilities made available to the people attending. It was a blast. Something for everyone and offerings far beyond beer, yes, truly.
Oct 24th 2012 10:02AM This is a truly helpful post. The responses are too. So thank you all for the information. Machu Picchu is on my list of travel destinations. And this post makes me wish I had gone already. I post entries on my travel blog in alphabetical order by destination. My last entry was Laos, so coincidentally, my next entry must be "M." Hmmm... http://crazytraveladventures.blogspot.com/
The photo quality is amazing. I'd love to know what camera you use.

Some of my kitsch in a shadow box. Again. Love this post about souvenirs.

Very cool (pun intended). The Disney parks are always expanding. I hadn't hear of anything until now about Sea World stepping it up. I wonder if the park will provide warm jackets for the ride?

Fiji was a great experience for me. I witnessed several kava ceremonies, but did not partake (apparently not good when you have giardia). One ceremony was closed to women tasting, but not watching. Others were open to whomever. I thought to post a bit about kava in a Fiju entry in my own travel blog (http://crazytraveladventures.blogspot.com/). Why? A kava bar opened just near me - in the US. How about that. Planning on checking it out. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Oct 16th 2012 11:56PM Assuming that the study is based on US travelers, I am not surprised. I am going on less big ticket trips.
For those who are traveling, I hope my list of items you might not pack (but wish you had) helps. Have a great time.
Oct 16th 2012 8:41AM Wish I knew about this when I was a kid. At one point, I wanted to be an archeologist. Perhaps something to plan some year now as an adult. Thanks.
