Miracle Puppy Needs a Name {Animal Hubbub}

Aug 16th 2007 1:56AM I don't understand how people can be so cruel, but they are. Man is taking it all away from us. So barbaric. I have been saving sicne I was a child. I don't feel it is heroic at all. I'm sorry. I just feel that it is our duty...all of us and if we don't see that or feel it, then shame on the people that don't and pray for them. Animals have no karma. That is why I always feel for them. They are innocent. We domesticated them. Therefore we are responsible, for taking care of them, or the very least, not abusing them and torturing them like so many humans do. It is comforting to know that there are others out there that do have a heart and the intelligence to know to help and to unselfishly take the time to care.
Thank you to all that are wise
and have a heart like
yourself.

Angelina Adopts Vietnamese Boy {AOL Video Blog}

Mar 15th 2007 11:52PM I've worked with the state and I can tell you that you can adopt here in this country,but it will not be a healthy bright asian child. It will more than likely be drug addicted. So, I don't blame people for adopting overseas when it is usually less time and less money and the babies usually are healthy. Here there is so much politics. My child that I was going to adopt was given back to the druggy parent and the judge did this with many. She was unhappy and it ruined her life and he ruined many. It should not be up to one twisted judge with baggage he brings into the court. Neither should case workers be allowed to keep extending the time when the child just gets older and caught in the system because of someone else's twisted thoughts on druggy sperm and egg donors having priority. Love should be first and it should not cost so much anywhere to adopt. Too bad for us and our warped sytem. That is the truth. If you want a messed up baby or child that is grossly unhealthy and you are an outgoing person that never took drugs, it may not be a good match for you. It would be easy to do so though. I've seen babies blinded by fathers and miserable from doing drugs in the womb having no choice. I've seen drug mothers give up their tenth drug addicted or fetal alcohol baby to the state over and over and still breeding and still doing drugs and still calous and still using the system as babysitters and still crying that they are the mothers and to not file those parental termination papers and the state or the judges comply cuz they are too naive and ignorant to ever get it that it is a game. So, yes, I would adopt too from Africa or Asia in a second. It is just too bad that a price tag is put on babies and children,but that seems to be the way of the world now. If you don't have the money, then the children just age in orphanages because of silly ideas/pride/ego and say it is part of their culture. I guess the best thing to do is to make lots of money and adopt in other countries and let the states cry about not having enough foster homes and let the adoption attorneys starve here and then maybe they will lower their prices eventually. It doesn't matter, because children will suffer any way you look at it in this rich superficial shallow country where people are more religious than spiritual. Love should always come first. God help us all. Maybe Angelina will send a strong message to our system and maybe then they will wake up in time.

Stereotypes of Tourists, from a British Perspective {Gadling}

Jan 25th 2007 9:19PM Okay, I thought this was funny and much truth to all. One writer however must be from Texas and not see how insincere Americans really are and loud and well, ignorant. I am an American and my Grandparents from Europe. I have to tell you(with the exception of most people from Wisconsin and Minnesota,over 25) that we are insincere. Don't kid yourselves. I get so tired of people here saying things they don't mean and never follow through with. It seems like that is getting worse. I am also so tired of the loud volume in restaurants and coffee houses. In fact, I'm starting one myself and thinking of putting up a sign on the door that say's"You are now entering a quiet zone. Oh, and yes, "No name dropping." Ignorant is an understatement since half of us voted this administration in! Also, I would not want to live with Texans or want them visiting my area. So please, be honest. Americans as a whole are arrogant. Midwesterners are helpful though and much more down to earth. -That is the European influence and Norweigan. If you don't agree with this , then change!
