Aug 18th 2012 11:56AM I always carry a small voice activated recorder with me for the same reason others carry pen and paper, to note special places, prices of things, location of where I might want to visit later or tomorrow etc.. Also, it can be of great help if a stranger starts talking with you, keep the tape rolling.. You never know.. It is easy to just keep in your hand or clip it onto the strap of your cross body bag, you will look like your talking to yourself, ( which might help in itself, bad people avoid crazy people :-)) and being voice activated will only use battery power when you speak.. I find it comforting..
