May 14th 2013 9:51AM The thing about reclining seats that no one ever mentions is that it's a domino effect: someone reclines, causing the person behind them (who might not be, well, inclined to recline) to tilt their seat back, and so on. I'm not a recliner, out of courtesy, but if the person in front of me reclines, then I might. This is a much bigger problem than crying babies or yapping dogs, for which there is a solution - noise-cancelling headphones. They're expensive, but at least they exist. There's no such solution for the real problem of having your already miniscule quarters compromised. I think someone should devise a smart, courteous way of addressing other travelers about these issues. It's mostly a communication problem. No one's communicating with each other, we're all just bitching about it.
