Apr 2nd 2012 8:44PM Agree that one's carry-on should be for valuables, extra clothes and other things needed during a flight. For me, I always carry-on my laptops/tablets, cameras, mobiles and their respective adapters/accessories. These are hard to replace if lost/stolen, whereas checked luggage items can be replaced and are not 'show-stoppers'.

Apr 2nd 2012 7:00PM I have always said that checked baggage should be free, but carry-ons be charged, with the exception of handbags, computer bags....AND that the size of said carry-ons be enforced. Currently, each airline has size and weight limits for carry-ons.
