Tips for flying cheaper in 2012 {Gadling}

Feb 10th 2012 6:16AM The baggage fee is lame. Just take your bags to the gate with you and when they say the plane overhead storage is full they will check your bags for free. We just paid $25.00 a bag last week to go to and return from Orlando. Many people used the above mentioned tactic. One woman had five suitcases and a stroller the size of a Volkswagon and it all got checked for free. I'll never pay a bag fee again.
