Jan 20th 2012 10:58AM Well, Pagan religions were too versatile and broad to "threaten you unless you followed their one male god." So of course it caught on like a wild-fire. Especially when that wild fire was killing all the people who opposed them (Thank you Julius Ceasar the mindless brute) :D
