Dec 6th 2012 12:48PM when we went to the san diego zoo i was APPALLED to see the lions and tigers in barred cages, just pacing back and forth in frustration. many of the other exhibits were just standard small area, nothing to do for the animals. but there was a great variety of animals--loved the beluga whales.
it's much better to go to the wild animal park. we went before we went to africa on safari and found it to be very much like the real thing.

Sep 16th 2012 4:45PM If you are the wife of the future King of England, you should at least be able to keep your top on when you are outside. I think she put herself in this situation. She should KNOW that she can't expect privacy and act accordingly.
Of course it would be nice if the press acted responsibly but we know that isn't going to happen.

Jul 15th 2012 11:14AM Discover card isn't accepted very many places overseas. We take a Visa and either a Mastercard or American Express. Always two different cards in case one is lost or eaten by an ATM or not accepted for some reason.

May 15th 2012 3:57PM Who taught you to make a club sandwich? It has turkey (or maybe chicken), bacon, lettuce and tomato on a total of 3 slices of bread. Sometimes there is ham instead of bacon.
I've been eating them all my life (and I'm almost 65). I'd pay $12 if it was a good one, with chips (not fries) and pickle slices.

May 6th 2012 8:30PM I used to travel for business (giving workshops to librarians) and got to see a lot of places: Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Germany, Spain, England, and lots of places in the USA and Canada.
Now I travel to see all the places I've read about in books. We've been on a river cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest and to the Mayan site Tikal in Guatemala. Next up is Ireland.
