The Amish are very industrious people who provided the dairy, chickens, meats and other market fresh produce etc to my old hometown in Belize, C.America. They didn't mix with the natives but could be counted upon for their farming abilities and peace-loving activities. I'm glad they were around when I lived in Belize.

Dec 26th 2011 10:51PM I often tell my hubby when he gets ticked off at people driving around, cutting you off etc to calm down and remember that we don't really know who's behind the wheel driving. Quite like some of the weirdos, delinquents, criminal elements, poorly educated, abused by parents and now out of control folks out there writing in like they've got some personal stake in complete strangers lives. Don't worry about people living life and having a blast with their money. Go get you a life and take care of your own business. These people don't care about you. They have their own life to deal with and evidently they didn't think to consult you naysayers when they decided to get married.
