Jul 21st 2007 5:14AM In the last week my topics have been The local surfing report... a report on gay life in the outer banks... a review of John from Cincinnati, which is after all a show that would be of interest the local surfers and an appeal to support the local outer banks food shelf... as you can see all topic very unrelated to the outer banks.
And this clique Amy belongs to has won. After this article appeared they finally pressured the owner of this site with threats to pull
their support and had me banned and blocked.
homophobic, intolerant & hateful? I will let you folks decide.

Jul 21st 2007 4:45AM If you have read my blog then you can see it is very much about the Outer Bank... I think you must have read only far enough to see I was a lesbian and at that point determined that fact 'should be keep under wraps' for you to be comfortable.

Jul 19th 2007 3:20PM Thank You so much for that wonderful post and all of the advice you have been giving me on getting my blog out of the closet.
As Renee knows my blog is most of the time a pretty silly affair, its centerpiece article is a surf report written by me as my dog Sammy in an LOLCAT style and it has been called by some in my blogging circle as the 'Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough Ice Cream of Outer Banks Blogs'.
But recently I've felt that I was not doing myself any justice by keeping secret the fact that I was a lesbian... so I went another lesbian blogger I really respect, Renee to get her ideas how how to do this without causing a big fuss. Her advice has been pretty good too, this sister is wise beyond her years and everything has for the most part gone well. But you all know that when coming out you will alway have that few.
Now I do want to take this opportunity to say the Owner of the forum where I had all of the problems is called the OBX Connection it is a travel information forum about the Outer Banks and he is a straight guy... but he is a stand up straight guy because he took very quick action to end this harassment and has posted to his site just exactly how he feels about all of this... and I want to thank him as well for doing that.
There are some very good people out there to be sure that don't care if your gay or straight, just that your a good person.
I want to also thank all of the nice folks from Gaysighted who have stopped by my blog to offer words of encouragement as I bring my blog the Queen of the Surf Pirates out of the closet... I'm am very glad I'm doing it because as one visitor told me the closet is just to confining a place to be and this has made me get in touch with the real me, I think my latest posting are showing that.
