Mar 28th 2006 9:04AM If I buy a new car and scratch the paint do to a defect with the car (mirror falls off, etc) i'd take it to the service department (ie, the retailer here) vs. the sales guy who sold it to me.

Mar 28th 2006 8:03AM Many Australians have taken umbrage over the banning of the Australian Tourism ad featuring the word "Bloody", by the censors in Britain it was announced here on TV news tonight.
Bloody is seen as a genuine Australian colloquialism and part of the national character here and not to be edited out by a lot of under educated poms.
If they don't want to come tell them to bugger off, was the opinion voiced on TV here.
Others think it will only serve to drive the message home further as freedom of speech is permitted in Australia but not apparently in England.
Anyway why bother, it's cheaper to go to Bloody Spain.

Mar 28th 2006 7:08AM I'm so excited to have found your post. I'll be on vacation by myself in Maui the first week of November and have been looking for fun things to do and this definately qualifies. This sounds like quite a unique dive experiance so if this works out thanks in advance Maui Girl.

He has records of all of the work done - and he has really done everything (he put in a new engine). He estimates that he has put about 7,000 into this car. He is willing to sell for $5,000. I am a medical student on a limited budget, but I need a safe, reliable car to last for the next 7 years. I"m willing to keep up with the TLC.

Mar 20th 2006 9:36AM Ugly. The "q" really doesn’t read very well as a "q" even though you know that’s what it is supposed to be. Take away the word "quark" itself and see how many people can associate the logo with a "q". I certainly get no sense of action or of anything happening.

Sony working on "Revolution Killer"? {Joystiq Nintendo}
Mar 6th 2006 9:00AM I don't see this as something that has to be better than the Revolution. I see this as something that targets the PS2's huge instal base and could cost a fraction of a whole next-gen system (Rev), but offer similar enough experience to disway people from going out and getting the Revolution. It doesn't have to be better, just more appealing and with
100+ million PS2's out there, it is easy to see that they just need to keep Nintendo from gaining any market share to
be "successful" with something like this. I could see them dumping a ton of money on it just to humle the
revolutionary aspects of the Revolution.
Really, take a way the cool control scheme and Nintendo's only remaining strong point is their IP (Mario, Zelda,
Metroid, Animal Crossing, etc). Is that enough to compete with two consoles with admittedly better specs and a rapidly
growing IP catelog of their own (Sony more than M$)? This could be the shrewd move that pulls the plumber's pants down.
