Man Shames Wife He's Divorcing With Angry Sign Hung on House {AOL Real Estate}

Apr 1st 2013 9:09PM And of course her and her family stripping the house bare while he was out WORKING to pay the bills is not childish? How would you like coming home to that? The judge should order everything returned and give her nothing in the divorce as a reward for her bahavior.

Idaho Planned Community, The Citadel, Would Require Everyone to Bear Arms {AOL Real Estate}

Jan 20th 2013 8:17PM First off, these kind of places and this way of thinking is actually pie-in-the-sky. There is simply no way to protect yourself from ANY catastrophe. Most, yes, but not all. A meteor could strike Earth tomorrow and wipe out life as we know it, or we could be hit with a gamma ray burst from space, or a supervolcano could erupt. You get the idea. And these places want to pretend they are in a 'closed' system off by themselves, which they really are not. Gated/closed communities like this should be treated with mutualism by everyone on the outside: That is to say if others cannot enter and walk their streets, the 'outside' should build our own wall around them and force them to stay inside. If they are truly self-sufficient as they argue, they should have no problem with that. They would quickly starve or possibly just run out of oxygen if we could also shut that off. They could also run out of water, run out of medical supplies, etc. etc. etc. I bet they would change their mind quickly about their 'safe' houses. Someone wants to profit off of selling 'security' to people for living there, but ultimately they cannot provide it, and the ones buying into it will not realize that until it is too late. I bet the ones selling this development will NOT be there when things go south, they will be hiding out someplace else where they cannot be found and dealt with.

New Orleans No Longer Most Blighted U.S. City: Detroit and Flint, Mich., Come Out on Top {AOL Real Estate}

Aug 27th 2012 3:58AM Just wait until the end of the week after hurricane Isaac gets done...Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.

An Exclusive Look At The View From America's Tallest Hotel Building {Gadling}

Aug 26th 2012 1:20AM All concrete? I don't think it is possible to have an all-concrete structure that tall, the bottom part would never be able to withstand the pressure. It must have a steel framework in there somewhere...

Feb 28th 2012 1:26AM What is up with the poll in spanish? Isn't this still the United States? I don't want to see anything in spanish; if I wanted that I would go to Mexico or Spain. Knock it off!

Family Faces Eviction Over Toddler's Noise {AOL Real Estate}

Feb 1st 2012 1:17PM Just look at the photo: They let her stand on all the furniture. That should be your first clue. Cute the first time, then obnoxious, rude, and dangerous. They apparently lack any significant parenting skills; of course SHE does not realize how much noise she makes or how annoying it is, but EVERYONE else does, or at least should. Instead of evicting them, they should take the child away from them until they get the skills they need to properly raise that brat to become a functioning member of society, and maybe start training her on some manners during that time.

Meet the coldest cities in America {Gadling}

Jan 27th 2012 3:24AM I was thinking that one time in northern Minnesota it got down to -80 (not at International Falls though someplace east of there)

A light sleeper's lament: six things you shouldn't do in a hotel {Gadling}

Jan 12th 2012 3:06AM 1. Don't stay in any of these places if you can avoid it.

2. If you have to, and you have these issues, call the front desk. If that does not work, find out what room(s) the trouble makers are in if you can. Pound on their doors, call them randomly during the night or early morning, and give them a few doses of their own medicine, or do otherwise mean and obnoxious things to help make their stay more 'pleasant'! If you see them swimming, tell them you peed in the pool earlier and walk away. Go over where they are talking and burp or fart really loud then give them a dirty look and leave, but not too quickly so they can enjoy the fruits of your labor.

3. Tell the place you are not going to pay for your room as the service was sub standard and there were too many interruptions for you to sleep.
