Encounters in Cuba: Meeting the horse whisperer of Trinidad {Gadling}

We took some horseback riding trips through Cuba, particularly Vinales (http://www.destination360.com/caribbean/cuba/vinales), during a trip in December 2010 but did not have the pleasure of meeting the horse whisperer. Now that there will be more opportunities to travel to Cuba from the US, we'll have to take advantage of a return trip.
