Macedonia: what's in a name? A major controversy! {Gadling}

The kingdom of Macedon was not a city state, but a kingdom, and it was Hellenic.

The squable is petty, the Greeks know that.
But when there is hatred and intence historical revisionism directed to oneself, you react.

Greece has a right to Alexander and the ancient kingdom of Macedon, far more than the Slavic inhabitants of an X Yugoslav province.
