Fisher-Price high chair recall: 14 kids hurt {WalletPop}

Sep 30th 2010 10:18AM Used this high chair for two kids. Mine were never hurt. When the older one was starting to walk, I noticed he liked to play with the knob, I was concerned it would be a hazard if he fell onto it, so I covered it with some packing tape. Problem solved, no million dollar recall.
As for toys that are choking hazards, take the inside of a toilet paper roll, if an object fits in there easily, it is a choking hazard. I tug on all the parts, make sure none are detachable. If it is sketchy, I throw the item away.

The Doggie Diaries: Pippi's Vexing Vet Visit {Pawnation}

Apr 18th 2010 9:13PM I had a very similar experience with my vet as well. She was demeaning and just nasty. The first visit I chalked up to her having a bad day, the second visit, when she called my husband stupid, we packed up and left. She had been pushing for ring worm bath ( dog did not have it) and she wanted all kinds of tests and a biopsy done. Then she wanted to dock my dogs tail (she is a mini dachsund)! When my husband asked if she needed her tail, she replied only a stupid person would believe that.
I am currently shopping for a new vet, preferrably one with a heart.

What to do when the price at the register is wrong {WalletPop}

Dec 6th 2008 10:41PM I was at Dillards last night, buying a $100 watch. It was wrongly priced in the computer it rang up for $19.99 I got it for less that $25. I have rarely had a problem in paying too much for an item. I have been in several situations where the prices came up cheaper. Guess I am lucky..

Put those breasts away: Woman asked to cover up while breastfeeding during flight {Gadling}

Aug 11th 2008 3:11PM You go!! I could not agree more. I was breastfeeding my son and a male server asked me to go to the bathroom. I asked him if he ate in the bathroom. When he said no, I said neither does my baby. The only tip he got was to mind his own business.
