Denmark reintroduces border controls {Gadling}
May 14th 2011 1:14AM On the whole I don't think its that bad a thing - everyone used to get by fine when there were border controls before the EU. I hope that some countries leave the Euro currency because for years countries such as Greece and Spain made a lot of money from tourism and now it's really expensive to travel if you're not from a Euro block country. So now I tend to travel to Asia for a beach holiday.

Ten great food co-ops in the western U.S. {Gadling}
Apr 23rd 2011 10:26PM Food co-ops are a great thing and in the future could potentially make food cheaper for all (due to less shipping costs) - even though at the moment produce tends to be more expensive. People need to attune themselves to the concept of not being able to get every fruit and vegetable 12 months of the year. Most fruit and vegetables can be grown for long periods of the year quite often you get a different varieties such as getting Haas avacodoes for 3 months and then getting Reed avacodoes for the next 3 months. I would much rather do this than to continue getting poor quality produce from supermarkets that has been stored for months and transported thousands of miles because its cheap.
