Jan 17th 2010 1:45AM The TSA really needs to develop an alternative to the "clear the terminal and all boarded planes" reaction to these minor breaches. Somebody needs to introduce a level of intelligence to the process that is clearly lacking -- though on the other hand it's par for the course with the TSA's knee-jerk reaction to almost every security issue that comes its way.

Aug 28th 2009 3:40PM You can do this on Southwest as well. And if your flight is not full, you can apply later for a refund. I believe you can do it online, but the easiest way is probably by calling a reservation agent.
